Ultraviolet water treatment
Ultraviolet (UV) units are used for the purification and
removal of bacteria from the water. No chemicals are used in the purification process, eliminating the risk of introducing any bad tastes or smells through treatment media. Ultraviolet water treatment is used to ensure
safe drinking water from boreholes, wells and springs - essentially any untreated supply.
Prices start from £240 including VAT

Ultraviolet purifier lamps are used inside of a stainless steel tube to kill off the bacteria as the water passes through. There is no physical water filter per se. Units are available for flows of water starting at 3 litres per minute, up to large industrial units. We stock stainless steel units only, with rated flows from 8 litres per minute up to 167 litres per minute. For larger flow rates up to 580 litres per minute contact A1 Water Services. The units we supply are built in the UK.
Installation is simple and in many cases the ultraviolet steriilisation units can be self-installed. Once fitted, the units require no attention and only periodic maintenance. Running costs are low and the ultraviolet lamp only needs replacing once a year to maintain optimum efficiency.
If you are in the business of catering, dealing with the processing of food stuffs or any other sector that deals with water and the public, then a bacteria free water supply is essential. An ultraviolet water purifier is probably the most efficient and effective method of achieving this.
As well as complete ultraviolet sterilisation units, we also supply ultraviolet lamps and other spares associated with these devices.
Whether you have a specific size of unit in mind that you wish to buy, or you would like some consultation before proceeding with the purchase of an ultraviolet sterilisation system, contact A1 Water Services.
